I am delighted that you are considering Wendyrayna Secondary School, and look forward to meeting you as you begin the quest of finding the right school for your child.
Wendyrayna Secondary School in its novelty has been educating boys and girls since January, 2015, its mission being to strive to be a caring environment that provides opportunities created by staff and parents for young people of all abilities to reach their full potential.

Wendyrayna Secondary school is committed to developing students of high academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, and strong spiritual, moral, social, and emotional characters. As a result, year after year, Wendyrayna Secondary School matriculates respectful, responsible, and compassionate young adults, who are well prepared to tackle the challenges that lay ahead.

We make a school to be a place of joy, temple of knowledge and a home away from home. All great ideas begin with a commitment for the future as it is stated in its Vision which is to empower young girls and boys, through education, to develop motivation, confidence and skills to enable them to become economically self-supportive. This gives you the impulse to make your own picture while the aim of holistic education gives everybody the ability to inculcate the vision into a student.

Education is not just about the subjects that are learnt and taught in school. Becoming educated is not restricted to being in school and then in college, gathering certificates and feeling proud of oneself. It is a lifelong exercise that can be unbelievably exciting if only we wish to jump onto the train of experience and take a trip to every conceivable place on the earth. Now we know that this cannot be done literally, so how do we manage it, first in school and then as we go on through the journey of life?

Children, teachers and parents have to understand that education is not restricted to lessons taught in the classroom from text books. Parents and teachers must encourage children to ask as many questions as they can. For it is in wanting to know that will result in actually getting to know.

Welcome to Wendyrayna Secondary School; the school that turn dreams into realities!

With kind regards,

Rev. Winston Hammerthon Mdegela

The School Director
